New Supernatural anime trailer

This may come out a bit late for you, but there's a new 222-second trailer in the official site of the anime. The highly anticipated 22-episode series will come out on February of next year on DVD and Blu-ray (the first part).

New Supernatural anime promo trailer! DVD will ship on February 23, 2011!

This is looking better and better and more exciting, as Warner Bros. Japanese site has just posted a new 131 second trailer with more scenes and previews of the anime version of this TV Show.



The anime is being produced by MADHOUSE, the studio behind series like Death Note and Vampire Hunter D, and it follows the adventures of the Winchester brothers, recreating key episodes and deleted scenes from previous seasons.

The definitive date of shipping of the DVD and Blu-Ray in Japan will be on February 23, 2011, given that it was delayed a month. Two more boxes will ship on March 9 and April 6.

The new trailer for Supernatural anime, with release dates!

Madhouse and Warner Bros. have finally released a 35 second teaser trailer for the anime version of this live-action series by the CW. It will come out in DVD and Blu-ray in Japan on January 12, 2011 with the first 12 episodes. The remaining 10 will be released on April 6 of that same year.

Both actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles will do the English dub for at least two episodes, and the date of the American release is still unknown.

Looks great! It has that Death Note feel!

A Supernatural anime in the works!

MADHOUSE, the studio behind series like Death Note and Vampire Hunter D, is producing the anime version of the CW series as part of a project for Warner Brothers.

According to the site Cinema Today, this is the first project by a Japanese studio based on foreign series.

Supernatural: the animation will be released on DVD and Blu Ray on January 12th, February 2nd and April 6th, 2011 respectively in Japan by Warner Home Video.

While animeanime.jp reports that the series will contain 22 episodes or OVAS that will cover the story of the first two seasons of the live action series, adding new scenes and original stories, as well as details of the Winchester brother's childhood.

Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Trigun) is in charge of character designs.

The seiyuus for the characters of Sam and Dean will be Yuya Uchida and Hiroki Touchi, the actors that did the Japanese dub for its broadcast in that country.

De acuerdo con el sitio Cinema Today, este es el primer proyecto realizado por un estudio japonés que esté basado en una serie extranjera.
