Publisher Shueisha has announced in this upcoming month's edition of Shonen Jump magazine that XEBEC studio has given the green light to a new season of this anime.
The adaptation of Hashemi Saki's manga and Yabuki Kentaro (the creator of Black Cat) will continue its passage through the small screen possibly this year. The crew that will work in this new season is the same as last season.
To love ru trouble is a good example of a 'shoujonen' manga, because it includes elements of genres that wouldn't normally mesh (shonen and shoujo).
To love ru trouble is the story of Rito Yuki, a senior high school student who can not express his feelings to Haruna Sairenji, delegate of the class. While taking a bath after returning from school, a naked girl appears before him. She introduces herself as Lala, an alien that comes from planet Deviluke, and she's the heir to the throne. Lala's father is looking for her to return and continue with their audiences to look for the person that will get married to her and will be the king of the universe, but Lala does not want to marry the person designated by his father and so had fled to Earth.
The first 26 episodes of this anime were released in Japan in 2008. However, it had to be canceled due to personal problems of its author Kentaro Yabuki, which prevented him from continuing the manga.
